PURPOSE TSB Revision 89-33A-002
This bulletin describes a change in the torque specification range for the lower suspension arm mounting bolt, and an increase in the torque specification used on the certain flange bolts. Beginning January 1989 the flange bolt was changed from a grade 7 to a grade 10. The grade 10 bolt has a higher torque specification. As a reference to this bulletin, please write the TSB number in the TSB Revision box at the bottom of the affected pages.
The grade 10 bolts can be used on older vehicles as long as the correct (higher) torque specification is used.
