Fuel Tank: Description and Operation

Fuel Tank Components:

The fuel tank is of conventional style steel construction, mounted to the vehicle by a pair of steel straps. It has provisions for fuel expansion and is fitted with inlets and an outlet for fuel supply, vapor recovery and fuel return. It is equipped with a fuel pickup filter (screen type) mounted to the drain plug and it houses the fuel gauge sending unit.
