Accelerator Pedal Switch: Adjustments

The kickdown switch is located on top of the accelerator pedal in the passenger compartment.
1. Loosen locknut, then extend switch until accelerator pedal lever makes contact with switch and the switch clicks.
2. Tighten locknut when switch is properly adjusted. To avoid part throttle downshifts, do not allow switch to make contact too soon.
