PURPOSE

This bulletin explains the correct procedure for installing the distributor on the 1989-91 Galants equipped with SOHC engine. MMC expects to change alignment marks in production sometime during March, 1991. You will be notified by Technical Service Bulletin as soon as the effective date has been determined.

As a reference to this bulletin, write the TSB Revision number in the TSB revision box on the bottom of the affected Service Manual page.
