Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair

CAUTION: Be careful not to touch the tool against the connector--resin section--when removing or installing the sensor.

INSTALLATION

1. Apply sealant to the threaded portion [1].
2. Install engine coolant temperature sensor and tighten it to 15 - 29 ft lb (20 - 40 Nm)
3. Fasten the harness connectors securely

[1] 3M Nut locking Part No. 4171 or equivalent.
