Fuel Filter: Service and Repair

1. Release residual pressure from high pressure hose.
2. Remove air cleaner and air intake hose.








3. Remove eye bolt - Hold the fuel filter with a spanner and remove the eye bolt.

CAUTION: As there will be some pressure remaining in the fuel pipe line, cover it with a shop towel to prevent fuel from spraying out.

4. Remove high-pressure fuel hose connection and both gaskets.




5. Disconnect fuel main pipe - Hold the fuel filter with a spanner and loosen the flare nut. Then disconnect the fuel main pipe connection.
6. Remove fuel filter.

7. Install air cleaner and air intake hose.
8. Test fuel pressure and check for leaks.
