*If the service limit is exceeded, correct to meet the specification.

Cylinder Head Bolts

CAUTION: Install the head bolt washers with the beveled side facing upwards as shown in the illustration.





First pass 108 ± 5 Nm (80 ± 3 ft-lb)
Second pass Loosen all bolts once
Final pass 108 ± 5 Nm (80 ± 3 ft-lb)

Intake Manifold Nuts





First pass: Nuts "R" 6.4 ± 1.5 Nm (57 ± 13 in-lb)
Second pass: Nuts "L" 20 ± 1.5 Nm (15 ± 1.5 ft-lb)
Third pass: Nuts "R" 20 ± 1.5 Nm (15 ± 1.5 ft-lb)
Fourth pass: Nuts "L" 20 ± 1.5 Nm (15 ± 1.5 ft-lb)
Final pass: Nuts "R" 20 ± 1.5 Nm (15 ± 1.5 ft-lb)

Intake manifold plenum bolt 22 ± 1 Nm (16 ± 1 ft-lb)

M8 22 ± 1 Nm (16 ± 1 ft-lb)
M10 48 ± 5 Nm (35 ± 4 ft-lb)

Injector and fuel rail bolt 12 ± 1 Nm (107 ± 8 in-lb)

Throttle body bolts 28 ± 4 Nm (21 ± 3 ft-lb)

Camshaft sprocket bolt 88 ± 10 Nm (65 ± 7 ft-lb)

Exhaust Manifold Nuts 44 ± 5 Nm (33 ± 4 ft-lb)
