1. Assemble pistons, pins and connecting rods of designated cylinder by pressing pins into the connecting rod. Oil hole in connecting rod big end should face right side of engine, while the notch on piston crown should face front of engine.
2. Install piston rings with piston ring expander. Stamped mark on piston ring should face up. Second ring has a larger tapered surface than top ring and oil scrapers are identical.

1. Assemble pistons, pins and connecting rods of designated cylinder by pressing pins into connecting rod. Numbers are stamped on connecting rod and cap corresponding to each cylinder. When pressing piston pin into connecting rod, apply engine oil to pin and small end of connecting rod. After assembly, ensure piston swings smoothly.
2. Install piston rings so that stamped mark on ring faces upward. Top ring is barrel face type. Second ring is undercut type. Apply engine oil to sliding parts. Arrange so that front mark on piston head faces to front of engine.
