Fuel Delivery and Air Induction: Description and Operation

The electrical components of the fuel system (injectors [2], fuel pump, fuel pump relay, idle-up solenoid and fast idle control device) are controlled by the Electronic Concentrated Engine Control (ECCS) computer (ECU). The fuel system is designed to allow delivery of a precise amount of air/fuel mixture in response to the throttle valve opening and engine operating conditions. The fuel system consists of the following components:
