Fuel Pump: Testing and Inspection

Fuel Pump Test:

1. Disconnect the fuel pump connector (located on the R.H. frame rail).
2. Using an ohm meter, check the resistance between terminals d and e.
a. If resistance is not approximately 1.5 ohms, replace the fuel pump and re-test.
a. If resistance is approximately 1.5 ohms, proceed to step 3.
3. Perform FUEL PRESSURE TEST.
