Fig. 10 Accelerator Cable Adjusting Nut:

Adjust accelerator cable as follows:
- Tighten adjusting nut, Fig. 10, until throttle drum starts to move, then back off 1 1/2-2 turns and secure with lock nut.

Fig. 11 Kickdown Switch Adjustment:

Adjust kickdown switch as follows:
- Adjust clearance "C, Fig. 11, between stopper rubber and end of kickdown switch thread while depressing accelerator pedal fully.
- Clearance "C, should be .012-.039 inch.
