SERVICE INFORMATION

If there is a very noticeable rotten egg/sulfur odor coming from the exhaust pipe of an applied 1994-95 Quest, it may be due to high levels of sulfur in the fuel.

A replacement engine control module (ECM) is available to reduce this fuel related condition, but it may not eliminate it. Do not replace the catalytic converter. Use the procedure below to reduce the smell, if it is objectionable to the customer.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Verify the smell exists.

2. Remove the ECM and replace it with the ECM shown in the PARTS INFORMATION section of this bulletin.
