Vehicle Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Speed Sensor Check:

1. Remove sensor from transmission.
2. Connect voltmeter across terminals.
3. Turn sensor gear quickly and check that voltage reads approximately 0.5 Volts AC.
4. If not as specified, replace sensor.
