Idle Up Control Valve: Testing and Inspection

Idle Air Control - Fast Idle Control (IAC-FICD) Solenoid Test:

- Check for clicking sound when applying 12 Volts DC to terminals.

Idle Air Control - Fast Idle Air Control (IAC-FICD) Solenoid Test:

- Check plunger for seizing or sticking.
- Check for broken spring.

If valve fails any of above tests, replace.
