Throttle Full Close Switch: Testing and Inspection

COMPONENT INSPECTION
Closed throttle position switch
1. Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
2. Turn ignition switch "OFF".
3. Disconnect throttle position switch harness connector.








4. Check continuity between terminals (5) and (6) while opening throttle valve manually.
If NG, replace throttle position switch. To adjust it, perform "Basic Inspection".

Throttle position sensor
1. Disconnect throttle position sensor harness connector.
2. Make sure that resistance between terminals (2) and (3) changes when opening throttle valve manually.
If NG, replace throttle position sensor. To adjust it, perform "Basic Inspection"
