Axle Nut

1. Tighten wheel bearing lock nut to the specified torque.
: 34 - 39 Nm (3.5 - 4.0 kg-m, 25 - 29 ft. lbs.)
2. Turn wheel hub several times in both directions to seat wheel bearing correctly.
3. Again tighten wheel bearing lock nut to the specified torque.
: 34 - 39 Nm (3.5 - 4.0 kg-m, 25 - 29 ft. lbs.)
4. Turn wheel bearing lock nut back 45 degrees.
