Removal and Replacement of the DVD unit / Checking the DVD unit to Interface Box connector

NOTE:
Before disconnecting DVD unit from the vehicle, remove any discs from inside the DVD unit.

1. While pushing the spring-loaded release button on the side of the DVD unit, gently slide the DVD unit towards the rear of the vehicle (see Figure 6a). Lift slightly, then lay the DVD unit on its back without straining the DVD unit cable (see Figure 6b)

3. Set the DVD unit onto the floor bracket so that the bottom tabs (see Figure 6b) fall into the slots of the bracket. Carefully slide the unit toward the front of the vehicle until you hear it click into place. Do not pinch the cable when installing the unit.

WARNING:
DVD Mobile Entertainment System DVD unit must be securely latched into the bottom bracket to prevent sudden movement and possible injury in event of a crash. During installation, confirm DVD Mobile Entertainment System DVD unit is secure into the bottom bracket by pushing forward and backward.
