Electrical Component Inspection




FUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT CHECK
- For removal, refer to "FUEL PUMP AND GAUGE".
Check the resistance between terminals 5 and 6.







THERMAL TRANSMITTER CHECK
Check the resistance between the terminals of thermal transmitter and body ground.




VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL CHECK
1. Remove vehicle speed sensor from transaxle.
2. Turn vehicle speed sensor pinion quickly and measure voltage across terminals 1 and 2.







OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
After disconnecting outside air temperature sensor harness connector, measure resistance between sensor terminals 1 and 2 using the table.
