2002 XTERRA AND FRONTIER VG33 SUPERCHARGER MIL "ON" DTC P0103 WITH LOW POWER

2002 Xterra (WD22) - with VG33 Engine and Supercharger
2002 Frontier (D22) - with VG33 Engine and Supercharger
APPLIED DATE:
Vehicles built before: January 10, 2002
SERVICE INFORMATION
If an applied 2002 Xterra or Frontier has the following:
^ MIL "ON," with DTC P0103 (Airflow Meter High) stored in the ECM,
^ Loss of engine power,
^ the current ECM P/N is one of the following shown in Chart A, Current ECM P/N column.
Use the Service Procedure provided in this bulletin to verify DTC P0103 and reprogram the ECM to the New ECM P/N listed in Chart A, above.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Use CONSULT-II to confirm DTC P0103 (Airflow Meter High) is stored.
2. Determine the vehicle's Current ECM Part Number. The ECM P/N is found on top of the CONSULT-II self-diagnosis printout (see Figure 1), or by CONSULT ECM P/N Selection.
3. Compare the vehicle's ECM P/N to those shown under Current ECM P/N in Chart A.
A. If the ECM P/N in the vehicle matches the number listed under "Current ECM P/N" in Chart A, proceed to Step 4 below.
B. If the ECM P/N in the vehicle does not match the number listed under "Current ECM Data P/N" in Chart A, this bulletin does not apply. Use the appropriate Electronic Service Manual (ESM) to further diagnose and repair the incident.
4. Perform ECM reprogramming to update the ECM data to the New ECM P/N shown in Chart A.

5. Use CONSULT-II to confirm DTC P0103 is resolved and erase the DTC code.
