Service Procedure

^ The following provides a general overview (summary) of the three "levels" of repair that you may be performing.

^ Not all vehicles will require all three "levels" of repair.





^ Refer to the "Repair Flow Chart" for complete details of this campaign repair.

Level 1 - Inspection of Rear ABS Sensor Holes

^ You will inspect the rear ABS sensor holes for corrosion.

^ If the inspection results are "OK", you will re-seal the ABS sensors.

^ If the inspection results are "No Good" ("NG"), you will perform the "Level 2 - Inspection".

NOTE:
You'll be doing the Level 2 inspection ONLY on the ABS sensor hole(s) that failed this

Level 2 - Inspection of Rear Axle Housing Inside Area

^ You will inspect for a corrosion "trail" inside the axle housing.

^ If the test results are "No Good" ("NG"), you will perform the "Level 3 - Rear Axle Bearing Replacement".

NOTE:
You'll be doing the Level 3 repair ONLY on the Rear Axle Housing side(s) that failed this

Level 3 - Rear Axle Bearing Rep lacement

^ You will replace the rear axle bearing(s).
