Control Valve Assembly and Accumulators
REMOVAL





1. Drain ATF through drain plug.
2. Remove exhaust front tube.
3. Remove oil pan and gasket.
- Always replace oil pan bolts as they are self-sealing bolts.





4. Remove A/T fluid temperature sensor if necessary.
5. Remove oil strainer.





6. Remove control valve assembly by removing fixing bolts and disconnecting harness connector.





7. Remove solenoids and valves from valve body if necessary.
8. Remove terminal cord assembly if necessary.





9. Remove accumulator A, B, C and D by applying compressed air if necessary.
- Hold each piston with rag.

10. Reinstall any part removed.
- Always use new sealing parts.
- Always replace oil pan bolts as they are self-sealing bolts.
