2004-2006 ARMADA AND TITAN:
POOR A/C COOLING AT IDLE WITH HIGH AMBIENT TEMPERATURES

This bulletin has been amended. The Applied Vehicles and Parts Information have been updated. Step E has been added to the Service Procedure. Discard all previous versions of this bulletin.

APPLIED VEHICLES: 2004-2006 Armada (TA60)
2004 - 2006 Titan (A60)

IF YOU CONFIRM:

Poor A/C cooling during engine idle or at low speeds with high outside (ambient) temperatures

ACTIONS:

Step A: Confirm if the vehicle requires ECM Reprogramming:

^ Check the Current ECM Part Number.

^ Compare your Current ECM Part Number to Chart A.

Step B: If needed, reprogram the ECM.

Step C: Replace Engine Cooling Fan Coupling ONLY for the following vehicles:

^ Titan vehicles built before: VIN 1N6*A0***5N546150 / Date: March 23, 2005

^ Armada vehicles built before: VIN 5N1AA*8**5N724551 / Date: March 23, 2005

Step D: Replace the Condenser Fan / Motor Assembly.

Step E: Install two foam seals and the plastic air dam.
