SERVICE INFORMATION
For the Applied Vehicles:
^ To operate the power lift gate you must pull and release the outside opener handle.
^ If one pulls and holds the outside opener handle, the power lift gate will not operate.
The operation described above is normal, no repair is needed.
Power Lift Gate Power Open Feature:
NOTE:
To open, close, or reverse the power lift gate, the shift selector lever must be in P (Park). Also, the power lift gate will not operate if the battery voltage is low. Additionally, the glass hatch must be fully closed in order to open, close, or reverse the power lift gate.
The power lift gate will open with one of the following operations.
^ Push the lift gate switch on the Key Fob.
^ Push the instrument panel switch
^ Pull and release the outside opener handle. (With possession of the Intelligent Key, the doors may be locked or unlocked.)
