Main Bearing Cap Torque and Sequence

Install main bearing cap bolts in numerical order as shown in the figure as follows.





Arrow Indicates : Engine front

Tighten main bearing cap bolts in several different steps.

Torque : 35.3 N.m (3.6 kg-m, 26 ft-lb)

Turn all main bearing cap bolts 90 degrees clockwise (angle tightening).
