SEAT MEMORY INDICATOR


Description

- Memory switch is equipped on the seat memory switch installed to the driver side door trim. The operation signal is inputted to the driver seat control unit when the memory switch is operated.
- The status of automatic drive positioner system can be checked according to the illuminating/flashing status.





SEAT MEMORY INDICATOR


Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK SEAT MEMORY INDICATOR OPERATION
Check seat memory indicator operation.
Which is the malfunctioning indicator?
All indicators are NG-GO TO 2.
An indicator is NG-GO TO 4.
2.CHECK FUSE
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Check that the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown.





Is the fuse blown?
YES - Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown.
NO - GO TO 3.
3.CHECK MEMORY INDICATOR POWER SUPPLY
Check voltage between seat memory switch harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace seat memory switch. Removal and Replacement.
NO - Repair or replace harness or connector.
4.CHECK MEMORY INDICATOR CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect driver seat control unit and seat memory switch connector.
3. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and seat memory switch harness connector.





4. Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Replace driver seat control unit. Removal and Installation.
NO - Repair or replace harness or connector.
