Removal and Installation


REMOVAL


CAUTION:
Disconnect both the negative and positive battery terminals, then wait at least three minutes.
1.Disconnect the negative and positive battery terminals, then wait at least three minutes.
2.Remove the A/T finisher. A/T Finisher.





3.Remove the front center console assembly upper screws.
4.Remove instrument lower panel RH and glove box assembly. Removal And Installation.
5.Remove center console lower cover RH/LH, then remove front center console assembly lower screws.
6.Open the console lid assembly and remove console bin mat, then remove the rear inner screws.
7.Move front seats forward.
8.Remove lower center console assembly screws at the rear.
9.Move the center console assembly rearward slightly to create additional clearance when removing the instrument panel and pad assembly.
10.Remove the spiral cable. Service and Repair.
11.Remove the combination meter. Service and Repair.
12.Release instrument panel upper cover clips and remove instrument panel upper cover.
13.Disconnect rear sonar speaker harness connector (if equipped).
14.Remove cluster lid C. Removal And Installation.
15.Remove display unit (if equipped). Service and Repair.
16.Release the defroster grille clips and pawls, disconnect the optical sensor harness connector and remove defroster grille.
17.Remove side ventilator assembly bolts and side ventilator assemblies (RH/LH).
18.Remove the front pillar finishers (RH/LH). Service and Repair.
19.Disconnect the speaker harness connectors (RH/LH/center) through the openings of removed components.
20.Remove the passenger air bag nuts and disconnect the connectors. Front Passenger Air Bag Module.
21.Disconnect remaining optional equipment harness connectors (if equipped).
22.Remove instrument panel and pad assembly.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
