INSIDE KEY ANTENNA

CONSOLE : Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK INSIDE KEY ANTENNA INPUT SIGNAL

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect inside key antenna (console) connector.
3.Check signal between inside key antenna (console) harness connector and ground with oscilloscope.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace inside key antenna (console). Refer to "CONSOLE : Removal and Installation" Console.
NO- GO TO 2.

2. CHECK INSIDE KEY ANTENNA CIRCUIT

1.Disconnect Intelligent Key unit connector.
2.Check continuity between Intelligent Key unit harness connector and inside key antenna (console) harness connector.





3.Check continuity between Intelligent Key unit harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace Intelligent Key unit. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Removal And Installation.
NO- Repair or replace harness.
