Low Tire Pressure Warning Lamp Blinks




LOW TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LAMP BLINKS

Description

The low tire pressure warning lamp blinks when the ignition switch is turned ON.
NOTE:
The position of an inactive tire pressure sensor can be identified by checking the blinking timing of the low tire pressure warning lamp.







Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR WAKE-UP OPERATION

Perform the tire pressure sensor wake-up. Refer to "Work Procedure" Work Procedure.
Is the tire pressure sensor wake-up completed?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- Perform trouble diagnosis for the tire pressure sensor. Refer to "Diagnosis Procedure" C1708.

2. CHECK TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID REGISTRATION

Perform tire pressure sensor ID registration. Refer to "Work Procedure" Work Procedure.
Is tire pressure sensor ID registration completed?
YES- INSPECTION END
NO- Perform "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" "AIR PRESSURE MONITOR" "BCM". Refer to "DTC Index" Testing and Inspection.
