Inspection and Adjustment


ADJUSTMENT OF TRANSMISSION RANGE SWITCH

1.Shift selector lever to "N" position.
2.Remove control cable from manual lever.





3.Loosen mounting bolts (A) of transmission range switch. Insert a pin [dia. 4 mm (0.16 in)] into the adjusting holes (B) on both transmission range switch and manual lever for adjusting the position.
4.Tighten mounting bolts of transmission range switch.
5.Install control cable to manual lever. Refer to "WITHOUT MANUAL MODE : Inspection and Adjustment" CVT Position Without Manual Mode (without manual mode), "WITH MANUAL MODE : Inspection and Adjustment" CVT Position With Manual Mode (with manual mode).

ADJUSTMENT AFTER INSTALLATION

Adjust the CVT positions after installing CVT shift selector. Refer to "WITHOUT MANUAL MODE : Inspection and Adjustment" CVT Position Without Manual Mode (without manual mode), "WITH MANUAL MODE : Inspection and Adjustment" CVT Position With Manual Mode (with manual mode).

INSPECTION AFTER INSTALLATION

Check the CVT positions after adjusting the CVT positions. Refer to "WITHOUT MANUAL MODE : Inspection and Adjustment" CVT Position Without Manual Mode (without manual mode), "WITH MANUAL MODE : Inspection and Adjustment" CVT Position With Manual Mode (with manual mode).
