AWD Warning Lamp Does Not Turn Off

AWD WARNING LAMP DOES NOT TURN OFF

Description

AWD warning lamp does not turn OFF several seconds after engine started.


Diagnosis Procedure


1. PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS

With CONSULT
Perform self-diagnosis for "ALL MODE AWD/4WD".
Is any error system detected?
YES- Check the error system.
NO- GO TO 2.

2. CHECK AWD WARNING LAMP

Perform the trouble diagnosis of the AWD warning lamp. Refer to "Diagnosis Procedure" AWD Warning Lamp.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES-1 (Without VDC)-GO TO 3.
YES-2 (With VDC)- GO TO 4.
NO- Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.

3. CHECK AWD CONTROL UNIT POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT

Perform the trouble diagnosis of the power supply and ground circuit. Refer to "Diagnosis Procedure" Power Supply And Ground Circuit.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Check each harness connector pin terminal for malfunction or disconnection.
NO- Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.

4. CHECK ABS ACTUATOR AND ELECTRIC UNIT (CONTROL UNIT) POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT

Perform the trouble diagnosis of the power supply and ground circuit. Refer to "Diagnosis Procedure" C1109.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Check each harness connector pin terminal for malfunction or disconnection.
NO- Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
