Temperature Control Rheostat & Trimmer Circuit

1. Remove adapter from "check" terminal, and place ignition and mode control in OFF position.
2. Connect ohmmeter to "check" terminal, Fig. 81, and operate temperature control through range.

3. Meter reading should move smoothly through range indicated in chart, Fig. 82.

NOTE: Do not attempt to adjust trimmer during test.

4. If readings are not within specifications, check wiring harness and rheostat assembly.
5. If meter needle jumps or hesitates, rheostat is defective.
