Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting Chart:

Nissan refers to their cruise control system as Automatic Speed Control Device (A.S.C.D.). Some charts are provided for troubleshooting specific problems. Diagnostic Charts Other possible malfunctions are covered on the chart with this section.

When a problem is detected, check these items before performing more involved troubleshooting:
1. Wiring harness connectors must be clean and securely plugged in.
2. A.S.C.D. cable must be securely installed with proper equipment.
3. Vacuum hoses must be properly installed with no leaks, sharp bends, or kinks.
