Fig. 79 Thermo control switch testing:

1. Remove switch and sensor from evaporator case.
2. Insert ohmmeter probes in rear of connector between control and sensor, Fig. 79.
3. Meter should indicate continuity.
4. Immerse tip of sensor in an ice bath below 32 deg. F. Meter should indicate no continuity.
