HANDLING PRECAUTIONS FOR DIRECT

REMOTE-CONTROL DOOR MIRROR


Service Notice

On the base of the remote control door mirrors of 1981-82 310 and 1982 Nissan Stanza vehicles, there is a projection which fits into a hole on the mirror body. Should the projection be pulled loose from the hole, the repair may be made as follows:



While pulling the mirror body in the direction of the arrow as shown in the figure above, align the hole in the mirror body with the projection on the base. When the projection on the base has come out of the hole in the mirror body, the mirror will not move smoothly. If it is moved forcibly, the operating lever will be deformed.



When the tip of the operating lever has been disconnected from the mirror guide:
1. While pulling the mirror body in the direction of the arrow as shown in the figure above insert the tip of the lever into the mirror guide. Do not apply excessive force to the mirror face.

2. Align the projection on the base with the hole in the mirror body.
