Fuel Filter: Service and Repair

1. Release pressure in fuel system as outlined under "Fuel Pump, Replace" for specific vehicle.
2. Place a rag under the filter to absorb spilled fuel. Loosen hose clamps at inlet and outlet side of filter and disconnect hoses.
3. Remove bolt or bolts securing filter, Fig. 97, to bracket and remove filter.
4. To install, reverse procedure.
