Test Description

1. Remove throttle chamber.
2. Make sure that throttle valve moves smoothly when throttle lever is moved.
3. Make sure that bypass port is free from obstructions and is clean.
4. Make sure that idle adjust screw moves smoothly.
5. Adjust throttle valve for fully-close position.

NOTE: Do not adjust throttle valve stop per screw as it is factory adjusted.
6. Push dash pot rod with finger to ensure that it moves smoothly.
