Water Temperature Switch

1. Drain approximately 1 1/8 quarts of coolant from radiator.
2. Disconnect wiring of and then remove water temperature switch.
3. Place switch in container of water with thermometer.
4. Slowly heat water while checking continuity of switch. 280ZX should have continuity below 95'F but no continuity above 95'F. Maxima with gasoline engine should have continuity below 68'F but should have no continuity above 104'F.
