Functional Test

1. Turn ignition switch to on position and check for sound of fuel pump operation.
2. If no sound is heard (fuel pump inoperative), check all fuel pump circuits. If all circuits are satisfactory, replace fuel pump.
If fuel pressure is below the specified value, check for clogged or deformed fuel lines and, if necessary, replace fuel pump.
