Air Conditioning Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Pull off A/C-heater control knobs and remove face plate.
3. Remove screws securing radio, disconnect antenna lead and wiring harness connectors, and remove radio.
4. Disconnect wiring harness connectors to control assembly and remove screw securing ground strap.
5. Remove screws securing A/C switch, Fig. 5, or blower switch, Fig. 6, then remove switch and related harness.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
