Throttle Position Switch: Adjustments

Fig. 40 Testing Throttle Valve Switch With Ohmmeter:

1. Disconnect the throttle valve switch connector.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between terminals 18 and 25, Fig. 40, and make sure continuity exist.
3. Loosen retaining screws and adjust throttle valve switch so that idle switch is changed from "ON" to "OFF" at 1,100 r.p.m. under no load.
