SELF-DIAGNOSIS CORRECTION TO THE 1985 MAXIMA SERVICE MANUAL

Page EF & EO-34 of the 1985 Maxima Service Manual contains an incomplete self-diagnostic procedure. The procedure shows a command to "Start engine". To complete this command, add the following sentence: "Apply brakes and shift in "D" "position".





Please change your copy of the 1985 Maxima Service Manual by hand as shown in the highlighted box on page EF-23.

NOTE:
The January 1985 (03) printing of the 1985 Maxima Service Manual contains the correct self-diagnostic procedure.
