Air Flow Meter

Continuity Test

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and remove air flow meter from vehicle.
2. Check resistance between ground and terminals 32, 33, 34 and 35 of air flow meter.
3. If ohmmeter reads infinity, check wiring harness. If ohmmeter does not indicate infinity, replace air flow meter.

Insulation Test

1. Connect ohmmeter between ground and EFI connector terminals 32, 33, 34 and 35.
2. If ohmmeter reads infinity, proceed to ``Flap Test.''
3. If ohmmeter does not indicate infinity, refer to ``Component Testing.''

Flap Test

1. Fully open flap by hand and check for binding or sticking.
2. If flap binds or sticks at any point, replace air flow meter.
