Altitude Switch

This switch, used on some models, is attached on the left side of the instrument panel in the driver's compartment. This switch consists of a bellows and a microswitch. The switch transmits an ``On'' or ``Off'' signal to the control unit according to change in atmospheric pressure. When the atmospheric pressure drops below 26 in. Hg, an ``On'' signal is transmitted to decrease fuel by 6%.
