VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN - FUEL INJECTORS AND HOSES

This bulletin replaces NTB96-010g dated August 28, 1996 and contains revised Service and Parts Information. Use this bulletin as a supplement to NTB96-O1Oa and NTB96-052. Discard NTB96-010g dated August 28, 1996. Refer to NTB96-O1Oa and NTB96-052 for complete campaign details.

SERVICE INFORMATION

The Voluntary Service Campaign - Fuel Injects and Hoses, covers all fuel hoses in the engine compartment. All campaign kits come with a new fuel inlet hose (filter-to-fuel rail). The frame-to-filter hose is also supplied with the Maxima and 200SX kits. The frame-to-filter hose on the 300ZX and the fuel return hoses on all applied vehicles are covered under the campaign if they are damaged. Damaged is described as:

^ Over-tightened hose clamps

^ Incorrect clamps installed (worm type clamps)

^ Hose protector(s) missing.

NOTE:
The 300ZX has two protectors on the return hose. The Maxima and 2X have only one protector. If the hose protectors are missing on the return hose. the hose must be replaced (the protectors are not available separately). Refer to the Parts Information table in this bulletin for the appropriate part numbers.
