AIR MIX DOOR CONTROL (Automatic Temperature Control)
Air mix door control detects ambient temperature, in-vehicle
temperature, amount of sunload and entrance temperature at heater unit using each sensor and controls air mix door automatically so that in-vehicle temperature reaches the setting temperature.

FAN SPEED CONTROL
Fan speed is automatically controlled according to opening angle of air mix door.

OUTLET DOOR CONTROL
Outlet door is controlled automatically by outlet temperature that is determined by auto amp. to obtain the setting temperature.

INTAKE DOOR CONTROL
Intake door is controlled automatically by outlet temperature that is determined by auto amp. to obtain the setting temperature.
If compressor turns off, intake door is fixed at outside air intake position.

COMPRESSOR MAGNET CLUTCH CONTROL
Compressor operation (ON-OFF) is automatically controlled by ambient sensor according to ambient temperature.

CONTROL AT LOW WATER TEMPERATURE
When water temperature is too low, auto amp. controls the air flow to prevent too much cool air from entering vehicle.
Outlet door control controls air so that air will not come out into foot area.

SELF-DIAGNOSING SYSTEM
If an abnormality is found in auto air conditioner system, the open or short circuit of each sensor and air mix door position are easily checked by referring to self-diagnosing system. Each indicator illuminates to indicate that there is an open or short circuit in each sensor. Air mix door position is checked by measuring voltage of Potentio Balance Resistor (PBR) using check connector.

MEMORY FUNCTION
1) When ignition switch is turned OFF, auto amp. memorizes the respective settings of indicator and control system.
When ignition switch is turned ON again, control system starts with those settings.

2) When "OFF" switch is pressed, auto amp. memorizes compressor setting (ON or OFF). When fan motor starts again, the same compressor setting will be actuated.
