Fig. 36 Fuel shut-off system inspection.:

1. Inspect clutch switch and neutral switch circuits for continuity and repair as necessary.
2. With ignition switch in the Off position, disconnect Electronic Controlled Carburetor (ECC) 20-pin electrical connector.
3. Turn ignition switch to On position and check for continuity as shown in Fig. 36.
4. If continuity does not exist, check electrical connector and component and repair or replace as necessary. If connector and component are satisfactory, check throttle valve switch for proper adjustment and correct as necessary.
