IDLE SPEED CONTROL SYSTEM, CHECK PROCEDURE


The idle speed control system check procedure for 1986-1987 Sentra (B11 and B12) and 1986 Pulsar NX models with E16s engines has been modified. The modified procedure includes an additional Vacuum Control Modulator (VCM) check. Page EF-40 contains this revised procedure.

Attached to this Technical Bulletin at the time of distribution was an amended version of page EF&EC-169 of the January 1987 (01) printing of the 1987 Sentra Service Manual containing the modified procedure. In addition, the following note was to be added to page EF&EC-81 of the 1986 Sentra (B11) and 1986 Pulsar NX Service Manuals:

"Refer to Technical Bulletin EF86-014 for modified procedure."
