Intake Air Temperature Sensor

Continuity Test

1. Connect ohmmeter between sensor terminals 25 and 30.
2. Resistance should measure less than 2700 ohms at temperatures above 68°F and greater than 2300 ohms at temperatures below 68°F.
3. If resistance measurements are within specifications, check electrical connector and correct as necessary. If resistance is not within specifications, replace air temperature sensor.

Insulation Test

1. Measure resistance between ground and terminals 25 and 34.
2. If ohmmeter does not indicate infinity, refer to ``Continuity Test.''
