Reference: TECHNICAL BULLETIN TS86-140 Date: July 31, 1986

Classification: TM86-016 Section: Transmission Models: 1986 Stanza Wagon

APPLIED MODEL: 1986 Stanza Wagon with automatic transaxle

SERVICE INFORMATION

Some 1986 Stanza Wagon vehicles equipped with automatic transaxles may exhibit a low frequency, high amplitude, shake-type vibration (primarily up and down) that may be compounded by concrete roads with evenly spaced expansion joints (approximately fifteen feet apart). This vibration can be felt through the seats of the vehicle, usually at speeds above 45 MPH. Countermeasure engine mount insulators have been developed to reduce this vibration.

This countermeasure applies to vehicles built before VIN numbers JN1HM05S ( ) GX029862.
