Some of the Applied Models built with Mitsubishi distributors and within the Applied VIN Range above may experience an intermittent engine hesitation. This condition usually occurs during light to moderate acceleration with the engine warm and engine speed between 2000 to 4000 RPM. The hesitation may be accompanied by a momentary tachometer drop of approximately 300 RPM.
Replace the distributor with a countermeasure unit listed below.
